Congrats on getting to Tor. I suppose some of the Elder hunt info would be worthwhile. There are 4 Elders in the elder fields. Red, Green, Blue and Black. When an Elder is killed it drops 2 items and gold. Most hunts are done as the T-method and with 3 ppl. Here is a generalization of what the Elders drop (2 random items from list and gold): Red (Plat) - Helm, Shield, Sword Black (Sorc) - Helm, Shield, Staff Blue (Dev) - Helm, Shield, Mace Green (Nim) - Helm, Shield, Bow Once you have 2 other ppl to hunt with you need to determine order of pickup before you go to hunt. Figure out who picks up first, who picks up second and who picks up 3rd (tends to be gold). After that make sure your hunting partners understand the common system. The one that picked up last will pick up first next time. The one that picked up first will pick up second next time. The one that picked up second will pick up last next time. This cycle continues. This works well if you keep the same hunting partners. If you are hunting with a new group of ppl it needs to be determined again. Some extra things to keep in mind when Tor hunting: -If your T-method hunting ability is not known or you are new to Tor it might take some time to find hunting partners. -Hunt with ppl your willing to trust. If you die for any reason these ppl need to watch your gear while you run back out to get it. -If a hunt is going poorly due to a hunting partner not knowing what they are doing it is usually best to walk away from the hunt. Talk to the person later and help teach them to hunt. Time builds confidence but it is not worth dying for a unprepared hunting partner. Best of luck with the hunts. Tor is a unique place when it comes to certain rules to follow.

The T-method:
I'll attempt to explain the T-method the best I can. I'm not any good at pictures. Lol.
The Fight-
This is the setup for the T-method. It consists of 2 attackers (P) and 1 baiter (B). It also includes a monster (M) that is locked onto the baiter (B). The baiter (B)will then move east and west staying 1 step ahead of the monster (M). There are 4 spots between attackers (P). This makes it so the attackers (P) do not see each other but will feel each others splash.

------------------------ PDMDDP DDDDDD DDDBDD ------------------------ PDDMDP DDDDDD DDDDBD ------------------------ PDDDMP DDDDDD DDDBDD ------------------------ PDDMDP DDDDDD DDBDDD ------------------------ Pot Drinking-
If the attacker (P) on the right needs to drink mana pots they will take a step south to do so. DRINK FAST. The last thing you need is the monster (M) to step on your head while you drink. The single step south tells the baiter (B) you needed to drink/create pots.
------------------------ PDMDDD DDDDDP DBDDDD ------------------------ The Switch-
If the monster (M) switches targets and attacks the west attacker (P) that attacker would step 2 spots south. This tells the baiter (B) a switch needs to be made. The baiter (B) will now step south to get out of the bait line. Once the bait continues the former baiter (B) takes the open attacker position
------------------------ PMDDDP DDDDDD DDDBDD ------------------------ DMDDDP DDDDDD PDDBDD ------------------------ DMDDDP DDDDDD PDDDDD DDDB ------------------------ MDDDDP DDDDDD DPDDDDD DDDB ------------------------ DMDDDP DDDDDD DDPDDD DDDB ------------------------ DDMDDP DDDDDD DDDPDD B ------------------------ BDDMDP DDDDDD DDDDPD ------------------------
This is the T-method as taught to me.
