The General, feeling the grip of the sleeping demon, heads back to Mordin. This is a dangerous area to camp in. As he drifts off to sleep, he enters the town. As he awakes in the morning, he hurriedly looks about. "Is the assassin dead? Did I get into town?" Feeling relieved, he notices the battered walls of the local tavern. This tavern doesn't see as many visitors as some of the ones such as bree and hobbiton. In fact the quality of visitors here had been degrading of late. It seems that younger and younger players were venturing into dangerous teritory. This often angered the General. For he knows they are not strong enough to fight the monsters here, they only get in the way and heighten the risk for players that truly hunt. Feeling secure about being back in town and in a safe haven, The General drifts off to sleep again. Later that day, The General gets a distress call from one of his loyal clan members. It seems that she is unable to get into the world. Wanting to check this out, The General goes to step into the World of Middle Earth. WTF!!!!!! Limbo? How could I be in Limbo? I was in town! I swear I was in town! To the General's amazment, he had only lost 10,000 experience points, he had however lost his bladed staff of Kryyn. The General steps through the dark gates of mordin and into the world with a new anger. He would have his vengence, and would be stronger than ever. But now, it was time for a trip to Isenguard.

With the new strength that was brought on by anger, The General gripped his sword tightly. The first evil being that he sees is an uruk hai. The General swings his sword with all his might and slices through the uruk with ease. He sneers and mutters, "get in my way... see what happens." He slices his way through a few more nasties and then sees two assassins headed toward him. Apparently, Sauron had heard of his new strength and was seeking to test the mighty General. Sauron had sent his best, but The General was better. He knew better than to fight these to unruly creaturs toe to toe, so the General moved. Then he sent a couple of whirling sheets pf ice at the creatures. After a fierce battle, The General was standing beside the bodies of two dead assassins. The General pumped his fist at the sky, "DO YOUR WORST SAURON! I AM READY." Little did he know that his cry would be heard. The General ran the rest of the way to Isenguard and then filled his pack with assassin's long bows and Bladed staffs of Krynn. He then ran around Middle-Earth distributing the new gear. It seems that it took The General all of two hours to replace the experience and the gear that he had lost due to some unseen force. He was now stronger than ever, and even more brave. For the first time in his experience and possibly anyone's experience in the game. Someone had beaten two assassins at once. The General forged on seeking new adventures in the world of Middle-Earth.

It was a dark and stormy night, monsters were lurking in the shadows with ease. The Great Lastat called for the Generals might, and luckily General heard his pleas... They had decided to explore, General was readying himself but 'Stat didn't stay. "Its not safe tonight alone, please wait!", the General began to implore, but 'Stat replied with a smirk, "It will be mere play" Off 'Stat went into the dark, alone, General continued to prepare. Getting chilled to the bone, he sensed evil was in the air... It wasn't long before he heard a scream, he finished preparing his best. Feeling as though he entered a dream, he heard another scream from the West. "HELP!", Lastat yelled, And General was on his way. With no need to be compelled, he knew the hunter had become the prey... Leaving Mordin quickly he seen the man fighting hard, a losing battle, Swiftly drawing his sword he brought it down on the first. As a thundercloud above let off a frightening rattle, the Mercenaries nearby regained their blood thirst. Around the General they began to swarm, at first he took them out quick. Then the time came for alarm, when the warriors life clock started to tick. Swords met with a clash, the Mercenaries kept coming to surround. The sky lit up with a flash, and a scimitar, the Generals arm, found. I can't die, I have WAR to lead, I have to try, the General thought, as his arm started to bleed. Finding new motive to live, General fought til he could no more. Knowing he gave all he had to give, he looked around, only to see Mercenaries littered the floor. Glancing up he met Lastats gaze, the man had tears in his eyes. Lastat returned from his daze, glad that neither had gone to their demise. Both shaking they cast heal, the night had been rough. The danger had been plenty real, but the two had made it because they were tough. Death knows no crimes, no matter how bold they be, even the strongest need help at times, As proven in this story that was told to me....

The General had a strange feeling this new day in Middle-earth. There was an odd chill in the wind, and the world seemed earily quiet. Not long ago, The General had challenged Sauron, and it seemed that every day after that one things had been just a little more difficult. The monsters a little smarter, a little faster, and a little more thirsty for the blood of the General. He was in an area that he considered fairly safe for someone of his level and strength, when suddenly, he was no longer conected to the world of Middle-Earth. Some unseen force had pulled him out. Was he dead? No, he wasn't in limbo, but he wasn't in the world either. When he awoke in the world again, he saw a strange new site...

....A New Evil.... It all happened so fast, when into darkness Middle Earth fell. How long will this last? Only time will tell. Soon I pray this shall be past, this world no longer an Orc invaded hell.... It was the coming of a new morning.... We were given no warning..... General was out, on a nightly hunt.... Trying to level up... Not only for himself, but for his clan.... WAR.... As he is sworn to protect. He heard the wind pick up.... Felt it whip past, whistling through his armor.... It was a cold, icy wind, leaving him feeling like he'd just been hit by an Ice Storm..... Shivering, he trudged on, he still had much experience to gain tonight before he rested... Searching the area.... He found nothing..... All seemed quiet.... When all at once, out from behind a tree, an Orc Enforcer lunged crazily at the General..! Growling ferociously and baring its teeth..... The General, startled at first, looked at this strange creature.... Grasping his sword tightly he swung with all his might. Slicing the Orc Enforcer's head off... He watched it fall to the ground. Still in a daze, he realized these new monsters were all over.... Watching him.... Hiding... Waiting for the moment to strike. Readying himself for battle, sword drawn, he stood tall. And the General yelled, not from fear....from anger..... It was war.... WiCkEd lifted her head.... Confused at first at the sound which filled her elven ears..... Turning her head to the side, she reconized that yell.... Generals war cry!? She leaped to her feet, and ran outside.... Only to find the world was overrun with Uruk-Hai..... She ran south searching, to see if it was the entire world.... She tried to find an answer to this unexpected turn in Middle Earths fate.... These things had come from nowhere... And many were fast approaching..... Hitting the first enemy with her staff, she realized this was no normal Uruk-Hai... It was much stronger.... It was a Uruk-Hai General!! Striking the enemy again, she found her arm had been hit. She was bleeding! 12hp had been taken.... What sort of weapon did this...!? She prayed the Uruk-Hai Generals next swing would miss.... After much battling, she began to feel weak..... Reaching in her backpack, she took two potions.... With some strength returned, she dealt a deadly blow with her staff.... A sigh of relief escaped her, with the enemy down.... WiCkEd searched nearby on the ground.... Picking up the gear and 300 gold, she continued to look around town... These things were everywhere... Middle Earth was in danger as long as the Orc were invading.... Clan wars would have to wait.... Personal conflicts put aside.... Until this new threat was over.... The General and WiCkEd called to one another from across Middle Earth.... As both new in their hearts, a new evil, had just given birth....

AND THEN THERE WAS ONE Sauron's latest fury had been unleashed on the world of Middle Earth. The Uruk hai Generals had been strong, but still not enough to defeat the General. He had faced two or three at a time, beaten them, and then laughed in Sauron's face. "Is that the best you can do? Those uruk are nothing!" Getting tired of the same old things again, The General decided it was time to explore some of the less travelled areas of the world. Stuffing his pack with potions, the General set off from bree heading north. He saw several trolls and orcs, but nothing too terrifying. The General came to Carn Dum and decided to stop in to check on a friend. Seeing that his friend was doing well, he continued west on his journey. Drawing near to Forvving, a cold chill ran down the General's spine. It caused him to pause for a second... Strange he thought, but dismissed it as meer coincidence and went along his way. The General made the turn to the south on his way to forland and saw a familiar, but unexpected sight. Just around the corner, two mercenaries waited in ambush for him. The General smirked as he lifted his sword. "I thought your kind had dissappeared from middle earth. Well, two more to the grave!" The General lifted his mighty arm, sword held in his vise grip, and brought it crashing down to the skull of the first mercenary, then quickly cast ice storm toward the second. It missed! "What! My ice storm hardly ever misses. What devilry is this?" The Mercenary swung hard, but his sword could find no part of General. Seeing that the swing had caused the mercenary to be off balance, The General took the oppotunity to remove the mercenary's head from it's body. After healing himself, the General wondered what else the night had in store for him. Continuing on his trek, he knew he was drawing close to his goal. Forland lie just around the next turn. As the General moved closer to the town, he noticed several monsters converging on his position. "So this is your plan, not too shabby Sauron. But we will see who comes out on top in this contest." The General could not move, he was surrounded, forced to battle four monsters at once. However, The General was ready. Before starting to fight, he took the time to count the visible enemy. The count came to 21. Well, this would be the most enemies he has ever fought at once. The General took a deep breath and then began hacking at the enemy. The first several monsters went fairly quickly, but it seemed that more were coming. Suddenly, a sword found a gap in The General's armor. The blow caused him to stumble a bit, which gave a few more opportunities for the enemy to cause some damage. Now the General was bleeding badly, and he still had many monsters left. He began to doubt his succes in this battle. Then the General looked down, he saw the blood flowing over his forearm, which was emblazened with the colors and symbols of WAR. What would happen to his beloved clan if he lost this fight!? It was a thought he could not bear. General used the last of his mana to heal himself. Then with a new might flowing through his body, he sliced through a monster, then another, then another, until finally all that was left was a minor troll. He knew that it would try to run, but by this point his mana had regenerated. He cast a final spell, ice storm, in the direction of the troll. It hit and the troll was no longer of the worlld of Middle earth. Looking around at the destruction he had caused he was astounded, and exhausted. It seemed he stood there healing himself for hours. The battle had been fierce, in fact possibly the worst that The General had seen. But he had proven his valor once again, and he knew that somewhere, Sauron was depressed. Quietly know, for he had little strength left the General muttered, "You will not win Sauron, I can not let you win."

Coming Home The General looked around. He had spent several days around Forland and it seemed that the monsters were becoming scarce. It was time to find a new hunting ground. A sadness fell over the General. It seemed this place was away from the drama that seemed to fill Middle Earth. He had become fond of the surrounding hills, and the river that ran along the south side. But alas, these hills produced no more orcs, and so it was time to move on. He gathered his gear, and started on the familiar path back up to Forvving. His plan was to stop in Forvving and make his camp there for a while. The path was full of mercenaries and Uruk Hais. Several times, the General had to make strategic moves to keep from getting surrounded. "Uh oh, here we go again." The General ducked behind a cliff and the mercenary followed him in. As the mercenary came around the corner, The General blind sided him with his Great scimitar. "One down," The General muttered as he peaked around the corner. "d**n!" The General counted 12 mercenaries and Uruk Hais. "This is going to take a while." The General settled into his well known fighting stance. Seeing the General in this stance struck fear in the hearts of many in the world of Middle Earth. A rock burst against the side of the mountain next to him. "What the...!" It was an orc enforcer. "Stupid creature." The General cast ice storm and the orc was dead before he took his next breath. "It's gonna be a long night." to be continued...

Coming Home continued The General's sword fell on the last mercenary and it fell dead to the ground. The General sat on a near by rock. It had been a long battle and he was tired. As he was sitting, he used the tip of his sword to sift through the ruble. There were several Dragon blade swords, glazed chain mail, orc scimitar of the warrior, and a couple of other less than desirable things. The General picked up some of the loot, but left quite a bit on the ground, and continued on his journey. The rest of the trip, at least til he got to Forvving, was fairly uneventful. A couple of mercenaries and uruks here and there, but no big battles. The sky was clear and the stars were bright. The General got to forvving and noticed a young player there fighting a slave trader. The General healed the young warrior, and then told him, "I think there is some good stuff on the ground about a 5 minute walk that way. The General smiled as the young warrior went trapsing off to see what was there. The General knew that he had cleared out most of the monsters so the journey should be fairly safe for the young one. He was just thinking what a nice night in Middle Earth this was, when he heard a distress call. Ah, another player that wandered east of bree and got himself into trouble. The General had planned to go back to Bree eventually anyway, he just didn't think it would be tonight. "Oh well, no rest for the weary." And the General picked up speed so that he could get there in time to keep this player in distress from experiencing limbo.

The Rescue The General stood over the dead carcass triumphant and tired. He thought to himself, "This has been a long night, but a very profitable one." And the General picked up the last of the Great Scimitars that lay on the ground. With his backpack full and a smile on his face, The General turned to head back to bree. For once he was not in a hurry and so he walked calmly down the path. He could not remember the last time he had had such a peaceful stroll through middle earth. Coming through a thicket of trees, the General spied a young warrior engaged in battle with an enemy that far superior to him. The leather armor, short sword, and tiny arms would never be enough to vanquish the Uruk Hai General that was towering over the new player. Well, the General thought, I guess I should help. And he calmnly placed his backpack against the trunk of a nearby tree. Then he saw it, the blow that would end the little warrior's life. The Uruk General's sword was raised, and The General could tell that the blow was aimed at the new player's head. "This is gonna hurt," the General screamed as he ran full speed into the young warrior knocking him down, but out of the way of the scimitar of the Uruk. As he fell to the ground, the new player screamed at the General. "Hey! What the hell are you doing?" Then the new player saw the gash in the General's shoulder from the blow that was meant to end his life. The young warrior's shoulders drooped and he leaned back against the tree trunk as he stared in wonder. He had heared stories about the mighty General of the land of Middle Earth, but to see him in action was astounding. The General parried a blow then knocked the scimitar out of the Uruk General's hand. A look of pure terror filled the face of the Uruk General, as the real General brought his sword down with crushing intensity onto the Uruk's skull. The battle was over, and the General was looking over the gash in his arm as the new player got up to thank him. "I'm sorry," the young one said. "I didn't know what I was getting into." "It's ok," The General said. "Here, drink this." The General handed the young warrior a healing potion. "Come on, I'll take you back to town and make sure your journey is safe." And so they started back to bree. One brand new to the world with so much to learn, and the other, one of the wisest and strongest warriors in the world. The General shared some of his knowledge with the young one as they went. Hopefully the little one would follow the General's advice and live a long life in the world of Middle Earth.

Getting Stronger The General once again made his way south of Hobbiton. It had been a long time since he had visited the Belegost cave, and he longed to find something new in the world of Middle Earth. Maybe, just maybe, the bridge on the third level of this cave had opened up. Maybe there would be a new adventure to be found here. The General gripped his Bladed staff of Krynn tightly as he entered the cave. He spent a few hours slicing through anything in his path, spiders, Dwarven Rogues, Cave Trolls, dwarven rogue captains, and opps... that was not an enemy. Sorry Pele, I didn't mean to hit you. Together Pele and the General made their way through the cave. Once they had reached the third level they got seperated. The General heard a call, it was Pele... Umm.. General... What if I get lost? The General smiled, "fear not Pele, you are strong. To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing here that can seriously threaten you. Just explore and have fun." The General kept going thourhg the cave. "Hmm... this is interesting, I don't remember this part of the cave." The General continued further in, and once again came to the bridge that he could not pass. Oh how he longed to kill those monsters across the unfinished bridge. He could practiucally feel his staff cutting through their worthless bodies. But alas, it was not to be. The General teleported back to Bree, but he was not finished. He left bree to patrol his old hunting ground. Once again the General is engaged in battle, and Sauron's minions are up to their old tricks again. Trying their best to trap the General so they have a better chance at killing him. But as they come, The General swings his staff with all his might, and one after the other, Sauron's forces sucumb to the General's might. The battle is ending, there are no more enemies in sight, The General's last blow lands and slices through The Uruk Hai general. As the Uruk Hai General falls, The General feels a surge of power course through him. He suddenly feels stronger and more powerful. Then he hears it, that all too familiar voice. "You have gained an experience level." Finally, at long last, The General had made it to level 12! He is now one of the very elite. The General turned around to notice another enemy coming to get a piece of the action. "Oh well." Said the General, "On to level 13!" And with that The General continued to fight, gaining more experience and trying to get stronger.

The End
The General looked around. So many of his comrads had fallen and taken that ship to the new world. So many who would never return. It seemed there was nothing left for the General in Middle Earth. He had fought everything there was to fight. He had even fought the balrog, alone in that dismal pit, but with so many who had fallen never to return... Well there was no one that strong. He had been lucky to escape the battle with his life. He had fought long, for a day and a half, but the Balrog still stood, and more than that, it was still strong. The General escaped the chamber and fled to the town. There were many assasins and dark elf necromancers around, but they held no terror for the General anymore. He just walked past them, barely giving them any notice at all. He sat in the town and talked with an old friend, one of the race of Elf.
"I fear there is nothing left for me here old friend," The General startled himself with these words. For it sounded as if he was giving up, he had never done that before.
"Dear General, you have fought bravely in this relm. But your life force is leaving this world and continuing on to the next. It will not be possible for you to hold onto it here much longer," The Elf spoke knowingly for he was the wisest and oldest of his kind. He then reached into his cloak and pulled something out. "Take this my brother."
The General reached out and took the token from his friend. "this looks like..." Words failed the General as he could not believe what laid in his hands.
"Yes, it is the boarding pass to the elven ship. It could take you to the next world if you are willing to go," The elf's eyes filled with tears as he spoke. "You have fought bravely for this world, but you must continue on. This cannot be your home anymore."
The General was honored, most had to die after their life force had passed to board the ship, and then they lay dormant for the voyage. General would be one of the few mortals that would be able to view the journey. "Thank you old friend, I must go to tell those that remain. They deserve to know where I go rather than to be left without any word of goodbye."
General left, swiftly making his way through the world and finding those closest to him. He bid then fairwell. There were few left that he cared for in this world, but those that were left begged him not to leave them. General told them all of the world that lay waiting for when they should pass from this one, and how he would be waiting on the other side for them.
As he made his way to Rivendale and the ship, memories of his time in this world flooded his mind. He thought of all the battles, and all the warriors that had fought beside him. He would miss this world, and had no idea what the next would hold. But he continued on, and soon found himself on the dock at Rivendale. This was it. He looked at the token in his hand, and then took one last look at the lond he had bled for. All the times he had shed blood, whether it be his own or his enemies. He had protected this land, and it's residents. Now he was leaving.
The General boarded the ship, and watched as the land of Middle Earth faded into the distance. What would this new world hold? What would his role be there? So many questions, and the only answer was the sound of the ship cutting through the waters below...
